I am Programme Director and Senior Lecturer for the BA(Hons) Creative Advertising course and pathway leader for the MA Advertising course at Swansea College of Art UWTSD. I am also a Senior Lecturer on the Art and Design Foundation programme, teach Contextual Studies across the faculty, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I create artworks and installations through the mediums of video, digital photography, text and sound. My work explores philosophical questions around emerging technology, identity and phenomenology. I am currently studying for a Ph.D.
I have gained extensive experience of broadcast, print and digital communications whilst working in the advertising industry as an art director, copywriter and creative director. I have also worked as a Graphic Designer, Studio Manager and in print media.
I have been a visiting lecturer on the BA(Hons) Graphic Communication course at Cardiff Metropolitan University and a regular speaker at the annual Creative Futures conferences held at the University of South Wales. I joined academia ten years ago where I have been teaching and practicing ever since.
I’m interested in working on new projects, exhibitions, campaigns, lectures, workshops and commissions.
